"Witnesses at the group’s Tuesday night show in Cleveland, a charity gig inside the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, reported that Jenkins used the occasion to say he “repudiates” what the Republican party now stands for. Clips uploaded to social media platforms show the crowd booing, followed by Jenkins exclaiming: “You can boo all you want, but I’m the motherf---in’ artist up here.”"

It was a charity gig but it did not stop them from going hard on Republicans who where largely in attendance during the charity gig. They only really played one song Jumper during their entire set but all the other songs where apparently written to embarrass the people who attended the event.

huh, those dudes still alive? Glad they could make themselves useful. Back in the day, they were useful for getting laid- if you told a girl that the songs they didn't play on the radio were the best ones, then whipped out your CD, all you had to do was keep from shitting your pants and you were in. And I actually did like their music at time. So my opinion of them is strong and good. Until their second album. Hoo Lawd what a trainwreck that was. Okay those are all of my third eye blind things.

holy fuck Third Eye Blind is remarkably shit ass for me to have forgotten about them so hard because i loved the 90's. i thought they did that "something something beautiful oblivion, rendezvous then i'm through with you" song and it's a different band... with a number in it.. Eve 6.

I may not agree with you on many political issues being a democrat but they are now trying to explain off their actions. I support them making a political message on their own time rent a venue near the RNC and invite people for free but doing this during a charity event not good. Look at rage against the machine and chuck D. It's what free speech is all about but people paid good money to attend that charity event.
