Things You Remember from Childhood, but No One Else Does?

I remember Mystic Knights and the Cowboys of Moo mesa.

These are relatively well known but are seldom mentioned in nostalgia threads:

No one talks about it anymore, but Carmen Sandiego was a cool game show.

^^These used to be the standard for halftime refreshment @ kids' soccer games. No one ever complained

Some kids would get these packed in their baglunches that they brought to school. Again, no complaints

My family was "not rich enough" to afford either of these. That's what I was told, at least. And I fell for it

And this thing*. It took me forever to find it on the internet. I've tried in times past. I only got one hit this time off of Ebay. There isn't even a recorded commercial of it on youtube, but they were very popular for a few years and the commercials were playing nonstop somewhere near '87 or '88 IIRC. Within a couple years from madballs

*They're various little monster guys that have suction cups on their heads and you use them like blowdarts and collect different ones

Speaking of a commercial that played nonstop, anyone remember this??:

I don't have any pictures, but I had a fucking weapons cache of toy guns -- Uzis, pistols, motorized water-gun Uzis, shotgun, etc.

The thing that people don't remember about toy guns in the late 80's and early 90's?

They were realistic as all fucking hell, and they didn't have orange tips or anything. These guns looked fucking REAL!

OMG i remember that, what was the name?

Visionaries! :icon_chee
I loved how one of the villains' summon was a snail. :icon_lol:

Also, agreed with the toy guns back then, especially BB guns. We used to hold gunfights with them and always had the bruises to show for it. Great times.

You can still buy these. My friend just did and we throw it whenever we find a field big enough. Otherwise kiss that thing goodbye.

It really sucks that i have such a terrible memory. I cant remember what i did yesterday, much less 20 years ago.

My wife loved a show called Super Gran that our friends and I have never heard of.

I remember Orbitz, they were terrible.

I watched Supergran as a kid, too. Didn't worship it, but it was alright!

Battle Beasts were the dogs' bollocks, had every one I believe - looked at the 'official' website recently and I recognised all of 'em!
