1) Khabib is a legit elite fighter
2) I think Tony beats him

Khabib showed a lot of holes that someone with good cardio, standup, and sweeps/submissions can exploit

not sure how tony beats him, is not elite in any facet of the game.

Khabib is a huge guy for 155. Looked like a weight class up from Al

Khabib vs Ortega is the fight I want to see. Khabib vs Tony would be great, but someone, somewhere, took out some blood pact with the devil to make sure we never see it, so I'm gonna try forget about that one.

So many flaws, bro. Khabib was a fish out of water tonight. I mean, he--oh. He won handily?

My bad.

Youre kidding right?
Khabib showed that his striking is on par with CM Punks lmao.
Tony would have murdered him inside 2rd. Conor KOs his sloppy ass in 1.

Tony would give him a very hard time from the 3rd onwards, specially with the longer reach.

Tony seems like the only guy who could beat him. Neither Max or Conor would have beaten Khabib tonight. Al is nowhere near the striking of them, but it stayed striking more because Al sacrificed his a lot of his boxing to keep that leg ready to pull out of singles, heavily favoring his wrestling background, and the fight went as long as it did because of his toughness and heart, something I'd figure he's got more of than Conor in spades. Tony has the grappling and cardio that he could conceivably use the same escapes tonight that Max and Conor probably wouldn't have, and would have had the insane cardio and general standup to make those arguments for the Khabib we saw in rounds 3 and 4 tonight.

Problem there is he has to finish.

For as much shit as I give Diaz Bros, if time limits weren't an issue, they'd prob be WW and LW world champions

Agreed, Tony looks like he has a better chance now. If he can survive those early takedowns, even his rudimentary striking could land a good elbow or two to end the fight. He has the cardio to pull it off, where Al simply was too gassed for a power shot.

Tony also has a better chance than Conor. Conor's cardio would not hold up against Khabib.

Khabib cuts to much weight , and I think his body is beat to the point where he could never gain the rhythm
