Same here and it’s not a good sign. Considering how many close fights he’s had lately he should be taking all his opponents quite seriously.

Nah Yan does it the right way. Cody just grabbed the throat and pushed him. Yan striked it with his thumb at the center of the throat. Cody's does no damage that's why TJ countered it right away. Yan's does damage. It's an actual strike, not just a hold.

Yan is very well rounded but has shown some questionable fight IQ choices in recent years, and we are likely to be judging damage -vs- control time with a healthy volume of wall/stall grappling.
