Islam Makhachev is a motherfucking problem. Sure Dan Hooker is not quite elite, but that was filthy. I can see him finishing both guys. The guy is straight gangsta so much black airforce energy radiating from him. No wonder nobody wanted to fight him. If you hate him (which i don't, i like him quite a bit), your best hope is probably the up and comers.
 
Maybe for Dustin, but I can't count Oliveira out on the ground. Not the best at holding position, but the dude is a finisher as soon as he gets ahold of something.
 
Charles is better at everything besides wrestling vs Islam, Charles will win on the feet or sub Islam off the back.

I love the idea of that fight. I would have liked to see Khabib vs Charles too but it was too late.
 
The Champions of 135, 155, and 170 have KILLERS creeping up on them. Charles will be lucky if he makes it to 1 Title defense against Dustin because he ISN'T gonna beat Islam, same for Dustin.

But Hooker might be washed. I really felt like he gave that win away to Chandler too easily as well.

But I love the hype train and excited to see the LW and WW divisions moving forward.
 
I'd love to see Islam/Oliveira to see if Charles has anything to offer on the ground, although I suspect he doesn't have enough. I think Islam walks through Poirier

Islam isn’t getting subbed. IMO, he takes the belt, regardless of who has it.

And Pettis, and Porter. I wasn't talking about his sub defense, but his sub offense. I'm actually critical of Chuck Olives, just my honest opinion.
 
Islam's chin will fail him, he has to be CLINICAL every fight otherwise it's over.
