This is two heavyweight fights that went to a decision in 8 days where there was no wrestling. None at all. Are these fights being manipulated? It seems as if the fighters, especially heavyweights, are told by someone not to take anyone down to the ground and just do kickboxing..

Then when some K-1 guy fights one of these jabroni's they get knocked out.

Ain't that a kicker (pun intended)?

This fight was in the Rocky Mountains. If they had grappled at all, the fight would have been a million times worse. They'd have been round 5 gassed a minute into the fight. Something similar to Taktarov/Tank.

The UFC dropped the ball here. Don't make big boy fights in high elevation. Seems like it should be common sense, but, apparently to matchmakers, it isn't.

JDS is just old and not as good as he used to be. 5 years ago he woulda knocked this guy out in the first round.

How many did he use on Mir, Nelson, Hendo, Anderson to name a few

I'm not trying to say there was never any grappling in The UFC, Of course there was. My point is that we're seeing less and less of it.

The UFC is turning into low level kickboxing because it treats ground dominance as a corporate demotion.

So, fighters keep it standing, even when they aren't doing very well, or are making much headway.

Many people warned early on that the UFC was headed towards a bland, Pancrase style product. It's just mediocre kickboxing with pro wrestling holds mixed in. Look for cage escapes, and 10 counts in the future.

Imo kickboxing is boring compared to mma and high level boxing

Thought this fight was boring too. JDS looked good, just wish it would’ve been a banger.

Brock is one heavyweight who consistently goes for takedowns and he sells more PPVs than anyone at heavyweight including Cormier. They're bringing him back. Apparently the fans don't hate to see a mix of the Mixed Martial Arts.

JDS looks like a very bad boxer... hes hands would be OK if he mixed in more kicks an take downs, but hes a boxing «specialist» they say? Looks like a dud that hits pads, bag and shadow boxes using the exact same technique/look for every strike and the same distance. Its like has 2 ways to thorow a jab, 3 ways to throw a right, 1 way to throw a lead hand to the body ect. Boooring :-/
