there should be designated replacements

    Sick of this injuries BS. Its way too common so UFC needs to be proactive and have potential replacements for main and co-main events. The potential replacement should also be compensated with a bigger pay if he ends up fighting.

    A very good idea but the UFC is tighter with money than...

    Can't think of an inoffensive way to finish that.

    It would cost them a lot more if those fights get cancelled.

    They were doing that for a while by having multiple high level fights happening in the same division in case of a screw up. But like someone said this wasn't even Co-Main.

    You realize how hard it is now to get fighters to sign contracts now?

    now add in a 3rd fighter and try and get everyone willing to sign....

    Sure would be nice but really not feasible on a large scale.
