Max Holloway is a pretender to Conor's throne.
Khabob is a pretender to Conor's throne.
Tyrone Woodley never beat GSP.
Forest Whitaker never beat GSP.
Cormier never beat Jon Jones.

Conor and GSP and Jon Jones are still in prime fighting shape and would easily destroy these guys.

No wonder the UFC is a mess. 5 of their champs are illegitimate. It is a farce when Bruce announce them as the "undisputed" champions.
 
If you consider Max a fake champion at this point, then I don't know what to tell you.

As far as Im concerned Max is a legit champion, it was Aldo who was the paper one. Max winning legitimised the belt.

Khabib is a paper champion, I dont care how legit he is but you got to beat the guy to be the guy. He beat Iaquinta for the belt....

Whit is the real champ, same as the above statement.

Ageed on all points. Khabib beat MJ and Barboza on route to the belt, which was impressive but hardly definitive of a run toward the title. Iaquinta was a squash match, and the chatter on the forums here discussing what a stout test Al would provide is only testament to the utter stupidity of the majority of forum members in the heavies (Al may have the hands but he is fairly one dimensional and there was no way Khabib wasn't going to smother him).

I don't mean to discount Khabib - he simply hasn't been tested against a true top 3 caliber fighter yet. Once he faces Tony or Conor or Eddie or someone else with a substantial history of finishing ability against top competition he'll have cemented his role.
 
Conor fans gonna be crying about him losing his belts for a long time. It's not our fault he was too scared to defend either one.
