There are unconfirmed reports that Usman will fight Leon in July. Rose says she wants to fight in the Summer, and she's shared the past 3 cards with him. My guess is they'll do it again. Expect to see both Rose and Usman in July.

International Fight Week always falls apart so Usman will probably pull out a week or 2 before.

You underastimate Usmans starpower. Especially if we look at the history of July PPV's, his name is def strong enough to headline that shit. He's been headlining some of the strongest PPV's for the past few years.

Good idea tbh. Usman has the esteem of a legendary champion at this point. But he's not exactly Mr charisma, or drawing the crowds eyes in droves on his own. Rose is popular but not really main event popular, so it helps bring in human interest combined with Usmans championship legacy to solidify the card as quality. Neither are making a great card on their own. But together they make for the solid foundations for a strong main card ppv.
