Theory: Conor's 4th Rd. KO Prediction

Wonder what the odds will be come fight night.

Floyd will probably only be like a 3 to 1 favorite

In the 4th round, he will be like

I was joking, he would get KO'd in the first rd

K but , Manny is one of the best welterweight boxers on the planet (or at least at the time of the Mayweather fight he was) and Conor is 0-0 in professional boxing bouts ...and Manny lost tho

The problem Connor doesn't have the cardio to go full distance. So he has to get the job done in the first four rounds what is difficult because this black dude can run fast!
I question conors cardio as well but in a pure punching match I think he'll be alright.

His UFC fights are 25 minutes with 4 one minute breaks

The boxing match will be 36 minutes with 11 one minute breaks.

He went 25 minutes against nate... by the time this fight goes 25 minutes it will be in the 8th round and he will already have had 7 breaks

This cardio myth really has to die...It really does..the only time conor has ever "gassed" was at a weight class he shouldn't be fighting at (170lbs) at 154lbs, there is no way he's going to tire...and also, when you consider that no kicks, no wrestling, or grappling of any kind will be taking place..Just punching...not to mention, the rounds are only 3 minutes...he absolutely will not gas...End of story..I have spoken...

manny lost with a torn rotator cuff. haha

i trained before but i didn't have many sparring session at all so i wonder if will Conor have the same KO power with the 10oz gloves.

I mean he hit fucking hard, but will this gloves show a different KO power??

he COULD trip floyd in the clinch once or twice and maybe get away with it. also if i was connor o would act like i was headhunting and when floyd does that classic sideways stance with his right in back cocked and hiding behind his shoulder hit him with a hard body shot and MOVE because that right is coming.

The fourth round is also where Manny Pacquiao found his best success against Floyd, and I believe this is why Conor thinks he can get it done inside four rounds.

Using the first three rounds to measure and gauge distance, Conor will employ his reach and footwork to back Floyd down. In the fourth, he does the same, but finds that extra step he needs to move inside and find Floy'd chin.

Just saying ...

What i've just read?

this has been an ongoing narrative, but I don't really buy it...at least not as much as most seem to be doing.

While the max UFC fight is 'only' five 5-minute rounds, and boxing is 12 rounds, boxing is 3-minute rounds. There is no clinch work, no fending off takedowns (or getting up from them), no dealing with someone leaning on you against the fence, no grappling, no transitions, etc. which all sap strength FAR more than solely being on your feet and punching.

I doubt you will find a fighter or trainer who will say that boxing for 3 minutes takes more energy than wrestling for HALF that time.

Cardio could still come into play, but this idea that Floyd will take Conor into deep waters and then tool him...I'm just not so sure.

This Mayweather dude is fucking fast. If Conor cant catch him in the first two rounds. It's over!

If he gives away the first three rounds in a feeling-out process, he'll lose the next nine, too. He's got to go for it from the first bell.

lol WTF
MMA is 25 minutes full,
BOXING is 36 minutes with breaks every three minutes
Also there is refree who basically give you a break during every little clinch
Conor has been working hard on his cardio lately...
Not saying that Conor will be fresh during the 12-th but definitly will be able go to full distance
