what are you talking about "it has to be huge"? he'd be fighting 25-0 undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov for the 155lb title. this was one of the most anticipated fights of the past few years.

if Conor lost it doesn't matter, it's not like he's going to fight much longer after that anyway, and he already lost to a much shittier fighter in Nate Diaz, by finish when Diaz didn't even have a camp.

he still came back from that, him losing wouldn't be anything. the only way he'd really go down the popularity scale is if he got completely tooled on his feet.
