They sign a lot of guys who are just prelim filler. UFC used to have standards in regards to who they signed but ever since the ESPN deal, they need bodies to fill throw away cards

Bilostenniy is a really good HW talent…. He’s literally one of the best outside of major organizations. I bet you didn’t even know who he was or seen him fight and do I need to list literally every fighter? Colgan, Downey, Roshkof, Nikita Mikhailo, Akhmed Magomedov, Kamil Oniszczuk.

Dana recently did one of those interviews where he answers questions from various social media websites. One of the questions was Will we see UFC Africa one day? and without hesitation he said something along the lines of "Absolutely, UFC Africa is coming." I don't put much stock into what comes out of Dana's mouth as a matter of course, but his tone and facial expression implied that it wasn't an empty platitude, but an indication that they at least had something in the works at some level.

Excited to see it, unfortunately we won't see another UFC Russia for a while but I think a card in Kazakhstan and Nigeria would be brilliant. UFC France is a nice step forward too, can't wait to see the UFC back in Brazil.

Mate I've watched far more regional MMA shows than you. If you think bilostenniy is a "great" talent then hamdy is an amazing talent.

Aliaskhab Khizriev, Javid Bashara, Michael Morales, Azamat Murzakanov,Victor Henry, Caio Borralho, Jack Della Maddalena, Taylor Lapilus, Tatusoro Taira, Muhammad Mokaev, Francis Marshall, Bo Nickal(pretty muched already signed).

If you can't see the difference then that's not my problem. If your criterion for great talent is someone like Colgan, then I could do more.

The past few years the UFC has diluted their roster with bottom of the barrel fighters… guys like Chris Daukus have no business in the UFC let alone headlining cards of the “gold standard” org in MMA. Charlie Ontiveiros, Kris Moutinho, 90% of their Chinese plants, there’s too many to name.

2. They only sign strikers/brawlers for more “entertaining” fights to their casual fanbase

3. They’re in business with ESPN so they have to check off boxes(China, Africa, Middle East, etc)
