Kind of disappointing one of the most infamous and mysterious killers turns out to be called Ross. It's like if Jack the Ripper was actually called Toby

I mentioned the church of Satan because of its location and reading about some links between it and a couple of the suspects, but that was a long time ago

Nah, that's dumb. We have almost 20 different letters with the same handwriting, and the killer would often describe details of the murders that only the police would know, and even send pieces of evidence from the crime scenes in with the letters.

It's amazing how little they looked into him back in the day. He was even a prime suspect in the murder of Cheri Jo Bates, whom investigators believe was probably the first Zodiac victim. Seems they spent so much time fixated on Arthur Leigh Allen (their primary suspect) that they didn't give most other suspects much time of the day, and it's amazing how easily they disregarded Ross Sullivan. Let's go through some details:

1. He worked with Cherri Bates, and was even questioned over her murder. He strangely disappeared for two weeks following her death

2. His handwriting bore a striking resemblance to Zodiac's, and even creepier is the fact that he misspelled a couple of the same words the very same way

3. He often wore military style clothing and boots, and military type boot prints were found at a couple of the crime scenes

4. He took classes in college on Cryptology and Zodiac was known for leaving complex ciphers in some of his letters (most of which have not been cracked even to this day)

5. Several eye witness accounts (including the two survivors of Zodiac's attacks) describe the Zodiac's age, height, and overall physical appearance as being pretty similar to Ross' own at the time

6. Last but not least, Ross Sullivan is basically a spitting image of the Zodiac. Just compare Ross' pictures with the composited sketch of the Zodiac Killer:

Of the popular suspects, Ted Kaczynski is my favorite. A verified bomber with a compatible psychological profile. Lots of other shit fits too.

His license and police reports say 6 feet.

You are right after looking into it, however there are multiple reports that have differing heights. Some are 6'0, 6'1, and still the 6'5 but all documentation says 6'0. I still wouldn't describe him as short like most eyewitness reports but 6'0 still puts him a lot closer the description.

Surely, there is some DNA evidence from the killer. Can't they:

- examine it compared to suspects (dead or alive).
- use 23andme to compared family members' DNA like they did with that serial killer in California last year?

Wasn't there a thread on here this summer stating the Unibomber was the Zodiac killer?
