"The Whole of Ireland Was Happy For Jose Aldo That night" - Conor McGOAT

That dude looks like he's had some practice doing that.

Conor wins he doesn't trash the guy he loses he congratulates tries to get rematch but no salt. He is a douche in the hype of a fight but after fight he's got more class than most.

Honestly this guy only posts this one gif in Conor threads.

Why?
I'd rather be caught with dwarf porn on my laptop than this fucking gif, fingers crossed he never gets a nosy missus.

As much as I don't like conor these passed couple years, I respect him for genuinely giving Aldo his due

This is good publicity for him so in part that's the reason behind it, or at least, it's not a big deal where you should go "OOOH McGregor is all class and when Aldo lost and got no rematch he was not nice OOOH Conor is great Aldo sucks". Aldo had been the champ for years, undefeated for years, and way less deserving people in the UFC have gotten instant rematches. It's a lot easier to be cheerful and classy when things are going well and you don't feel wronged. Having said that of course that doesn't mean it's a "good look" to be extremely salty and dwell on things either.

I think Conor is genuinely happy for Aldo though. McGregor seemed like a good guy, probably still is but some stuff might point a bit to the contrary as of late :D

It's now officially being made Jose Aldo jr Day every 28th of July just as a filler for Paddy's Day and an excuse to get pissed.

Well he is right, i mean all of sherdog was happy for aldo too. His post fight win reaction was just awesome.

I guess Ireland watched it... because according to the numbers, Americans didn't. But an awesome win none the less.

Im surprised the numbers were down with some violent fighters at the top of the card but classy by Conor anyway.

Funny I actually don't like jose aldo at all really. not a huge fan of him or really any of his individual performances in the UFC but when he landed that KO I was so happy for him also. I couldn't help but smile and be glad for him, because im sure he's a point in his career where he's wondering if he can stay on the top.

It's strange, when a champion I don't like loses his belt I find my self rooting for them later. (Benson henderson being my prime example)

That's another reason why the talk of 2 million PPVs for Conor and Nurmagomedov is bollocks, imo. MMA viewership seems to sway up and down for the free cards.

Well if Aldo lost, that only would make his biggest win mean less since Holloway just finished him too. Also Alvarez getting finished diminished that win so he needed Aldo to look good. If they both lost, it would be even harder for Conor to avoid fighting and pretend to be a relevant "champion".
