The whole 3 loss streak thing should be adjusted

Obviously, UFC doesn't strictly follow this. But, at the upper level of very deep divisions should top ranked fighters really be on the hit list compared to lower ranked fights? There are guys who go almost their entire career fighting cans versus guys who fight the best. NIck Diaz for example fought Carlos Condit, GSP and Anderson Silva in a row. Would that really qualify the same way as losing to prelim fighters?

I dont uunderstand. They fired fighters on one loss before and kept fighters on a pretty damn long losing streak (Dan Hardy from what i recall for example), so wtf
