First round of the unofficial 7 man welterweight tournament is now complete.
4 men remain.
Colby and Woodley will likely headline UFC 228 in September with Till vs Usman on the undercard.
The winners will then square off at the end of the year.
Who do you think leaves 2018 as the UFC welterweight champion?

I would favour Woodley to come out of that group, but really I could see any of them ending up as champ.

Not the most exciting group of performers, but they're all very skilled so I'm still excited to see how it will play out.

Only thing that sucks with that is Till vs Usman should be a 5 rounder... plus if the ufc was smart they’d have till vs lawler then like Usman vs RDA in my opinion

Those matchups make no sense whatsoever. That definitely would not be the "smart" move.

Here is why people are saying this is bad. It eliminates title contenders. Which although makes sense to find the next shot...... cancels title contenders.....
