The Welterweight Division After GSP Retired.

I remember people thinking GSP was scared to come back because of Woodley

{<jordan}
Right before the Gsp Bisping Fight , Gsp dwarfing woodley , tells him to come on up to MW and get the belt from him after he takes it from Bisping.

Patted him on the back and called him “little buddy” like he was a middle school aged fan. Shit was hilarious.

Definitely not scared of him

Ohh hey GSP remains one of the most popular fighters to ever do it and the only people that don't like him are the feeble who were big fans of guys he 50-45'd.

Some people know elite skill when they see it. It's on everyone else to do something about it. They couldn't. War GSP
That's the thing. His skill level was off the charts. There will always be people who only want to see haymakers being thrown but some of us also enjoy watching sheer excellence at all facets of MMA.

The boredom was that each title defense was wrestling, guard control, decision. Vs Kos the jab worked but no finish or trading punches. The Bisping fight was amazing. Technically, skill, dog wise. The fights until after Serra were also very much fun. Second Serra fight was good too, who finishes fights with knees to the body.

It's a sport so he or anyone doesn't owe excitement.

It just became predictable that he was going to outwrestle and decision everyone.

Well actually the Shuelds fight was stand up too. But not the best fight, GSP injured his eye and it was tad of a low level kickboxing Match.

he was piecing shields up until the eye pokes, then really became a ugly fight(and not the good kind of ugly)

people overestimate his "blanket" status. condit,alves, fitch, hendricks were all good fights

guys like diaz, kos and hardy just stood there, too petrified to engage

He didn't get poked, Jake punched him in the eye.

Alvez fight was super boring.
