I saw a women getting the crap beat out of her on the street a few weeks ago, moved in to stop the guy (with a few other by-standers) so he took off. Stayed with her and called the police, they told me it's happened to this women by the same man over 10 times because she never presses charges and that its very common.
I don't know what the fuck it is with women man, but they are stupid for not bringing things like this to court (If Browne was in fact abusive).
A lot of factors man.. from still loving them, something wrong with them, to the kids that are in the middle of it, believing their lies that it won't happen again, not willing to stand up for themselves, past abused, low self esteem, childhood upbringing, shame of others, not wanting to send them to jail, etc etc it's very complicated.
While I'm aware his wife could have easily fabricated it all.. not the first and not the last to do so, I'm also aware that she could have easily just wanted to take a stand against him but not go all the way and screw with the kids and all, just enough to get attention and make him stop.. we may never know the truth.
But then again if he didn't do it then a) another one did it.. or b) she did it to herself - either of this options you don't just shut up and continue with your famous, rich girlfriend.. nope you go after the dude that done it (legal or other wise) or you get your kids away from her because she is unstable.
We only saw pieces of his character we can judge him only with what we got.. like others said those comments full of arrogance with "making a name off me", cheating on his wife, that full on attitude of his, that report stuff, the blatant pokes and 0 fucks giving after, them freaky side/back of the head gray area TKO's he has had, association with you know who 2 of them that are in a gray area so to say and etc.. I'm sure there is more stuff.
Let's be real the dude isn't a nice one.
