Anyone following the principles of the warrior diet?

I have just finished my first week of following it. My typical day looks like this:

Mid-morning: Apple.
Lunch: Small green salad with a few walnuts, dressed in EV Olive Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, and sprinkle of salt.
Afternoon/Post-Workout: Few walnuts and piece of fruit.
Dinner: Salad. Meat/Poultry. Rice. Dinner is a fairly large meal, and a second serve if I want it.

I drink water throughout the day, just not when eating. I have a coffee in the morning. Tea whenever I feel like it.

Supplements: Multivitamin and Mineral. Royal Jelly. Vitamin D.

That's it. I have noticed I don't get tired throughout the day as I normally would. I feel healthier and am not experiencing any bloating after eating. My training is as good as usual or better.

What's your primary reason for being on this diet?

I love how people think that IF, or any other variation of it is the magic pill to all their dieting dilemmas.

Caveat: I've been doing IF for 5 years now. It's nothing special. I just did it because I didn't have time to eat and I like to eat a lot in one sitting. Calories in, calories out. That's all that matters.

Bro. This is actually why I started too. I started a new job, and the first week while training I was so busy I couldn't eat. I mean, I could have but there was so much to do and I just wanted to take it all in. I was getting home and training and I actually had heaps of energy. I enquired on line and did some research on IF and found the warrior diet.

So, after doing the research, I decided to try.

As I said, after one week, I actually feel good. Like good! I have more energy and I feel happier attitude wise. I thought I would start to lose some muscle mass, but keeping up the constant training, my stomach is thinning out, nothing else. My display pic there is from this week. That's slightly more defined than the week before all over.

I am not using it as a magic pill, but I will give it a go for a solid 4-6 weeks and if it works, great, but if it doesn't do anything for me or negatively affects me, I'll stop.

Oh definitely. Having more energy throughout the day was one of the best things about this diet. I feel more focused and sharp when I'm in a fasting phase. Plus, the lack of frequent food comas was another plus.

At one point in my life, I was so busy that my fasting phase would be around 24-30 hours. I would literally eat 3000-4000 in one sitting. Sometimes more if I was doing a refeed that day.

seems like a good simple diet. Is that enough calories for you?

I used to try to follow a plan but now I just eat if Im hungry and eat whole foods
