From the start, "illegal votes" and "unauthorized citizens" was used interchangeably, as the whole point of the bet was for me to see if anyone actually believed Trump's wildly implausible assertion and was willing to put skin in the game on it. Greoric pointed out that felons could be a form of illegal voters. That actually is something that very rarely happens (unlike unauthorized citizen voting, which really never happens), though the number was high enough that I'm still the likely winner. I'm willing to move off the topic (Trump's incredible and dishonest claim) and make a broader bet as long as he acknowledges the point. He's trying to have it both ways, though. Stand by Trump's claim but not actually bet on it. It's a level of hackery that I would think would be embarrassing, but since electing Trump, Republicans appear to have lost that capacity.

You "win" by refusing to take either of two bets that you know you'll lose, and by lying about what I'm saying, right?

You're wrong about there being more than 3,000 felons likely to have voted illegally (note that felons can vote legally in many states, including CA), but given that felons would make up almost all of the very small number of people who voted and shouldn't have been allowed to, it's an entirely separate issue from what we were discussing.

Hmm. How can I have "backed off" on the bet when I'm still offering it? And I'm also offering to take your amended bet as long as you acknowledge explicitly what you're already implying by offering it. It's literal LOL stuff how you can't bring yourself to just say that Trump is lying.

I'm not the unwilling one, Jack. I've given the okay 3 fuckin' times already. All you've done is stall, attempt to add stipulations, and look for excuses to not sign off on a bet that you know you're going to lose.

Dress it up all you want, to comfort your fragile ego. I don't give a shit. The fact is, you made a bet proposal, and then backed out. That's all there is to it.

You can stop now though. I wouldn't bet a person of such low integrity like yourself, who is obviously going to welch when they lose anyways.

Well, he'd be stupid to agree to the original bet because of what has been pointed out about felon voters. Has Trump talked about felon voters in his diatribes about the popular vote? No.

So Jack is not going to take the original bet because of a flaw, you are not talking the modified bet because you don't have the flaw anymore and don't trust you own beliefs.

Absolutely shameless pussying out by Heretic. In the hundreds or maybe thousands of bets I've arbitrated, this is one of the most spineless displays I've ever seen.

The number could be set at 30,000 instead of 3,000 and it would still show Trump being utterly full of shit. This is an attempt by Heretic to backdoor in a technicality, and shows he has no balls. What a creep and a coward.
