It's as amateurish as Freddie Roach suggested. Got touched up by the pro; couldn't avoid the shots coming in, and landed nothing of his own. Conor tried rushing with straight punches and got a check hook for his trouble. He also tried stopping and moving to feint and disrupt the boxer's rhythm, but Heerden never fell for it. Continued to touch him up.
I can see why the boxer was upset that footage was edited to make Conor look good. Unedited raw footage shows the momentum was way more in the boxer's favor. Still don't know what the full sparring session was like, though.
