if we are talking mexican tacos from somewhere legit. soft two torts
if i am with the fam we do new mexican style fried flour torts which is delicious but i still prefer the variety and flavors in traditional mexican tacos
hard shell if i am eating tbell

At home I make hard shell. Shells from the store and bake for 5 minutes. If it's gonna be soft i'll just end up putting more stuff and it's a buritto.

If out and ordering Mexican and in the mood for tacos it's gonna be street tacos which is always soft. Carnitas with the chopped onions and cilantro, squeeze lime and red or green runny salsa. 2 corn tortillas for each taco.

I prefer a good soft flour tortilla. I used to love the 2 soft corn tortillas but just find that flour holds it together better.

Mexican is my second favorite food next to Italian.


Hard shell tacos are for folks that dont eat tacos or do the taco night where they use the ole el Paso kit ....... or taco bell.

Soft taco to me is just another kind of burrito just using taco season beef, chicken or Chorizo. Best breakfast burrito use corn tortillas meat and eggs often use left over taco meat.
