I can't stand people who use "are" to refer to a company. It just sounds so fucking douchey, like something Jordan Breen would say... Actually he DID say stuff like that all the time. "Zuffa are..." One of the main reasons I stopped listening to the SRN.

It's one company, so it's singular. Stop trying to be smarter than everyone else. Also, an acronym is one unit. "He had 5 RBI tonight." No, mofo! "He had 5 RBI's tonight." I hate the idiots who do this on SportsCenter or whatever.
