Speed and power with a mind that is beyond most, if not all other predators. Complex language, empathy. You only have to view their diverse hunting strategies to appreciate how they're able to assess an environment and turn it to their advantage!

Amur Tiger (aka the Siberian Tiger). Beautiful creatures, intelligent and vicious. They are known for hunting and killing big brown bears as well as boars (which are btw more dangerous than you might think).



Above is a size comparison to a human.

They are a 450lbs killing machine. Hunts alone and doesn’t need a pride or a pack like lions and wolves do.

There is a story of how a Siberian Tiger got shot by a Russian hunter and it tracked him for weeks until he is alone and vulnerable and ultimately murdering him. The scary part was that his carcass wasn’t eaten so it was for revenge.

Definitely Orcas. Would've rule the world if they can walk the land. Funny how chimps never in a discussion as candidates even though they like to eat meat from time to time. I guess because chimps always at war with each other even though they have few natural predators.

On land, in the skies or in the vast oceans, what animal besides humans of course would you consider the Ultimate Apex Predator....king of kings... and why?

This means that(again, not counting humans) no other animal fucks with them but they destroy everything.

My pick is the Orca.

That's right...that lovable looking sea mammal literally owns the vastness of the oceans and nothing, not even great whites fuck with them. They apparently are known to eat hundreds of different species which include freaking land animals and birds. That's as boss as it gets.

Agreed , magnificent predator and they do it in packs like Sea Wolves.

For years and years Hollywood has been hyping the sharks. Orcas eat them for breakfast.

Truth is that Orcas are the ultimate superpredator of the sea. Nobody fucks with them.

I was in the Patagonia last summer and went to a place where Orcas go every year. They are crazy smart too. The guide told us how the older ones purposly get the younger ones stranded just to teach them how to get back to the sea. It was freaking crazy.

PS: I remember them saying that dolphins (who are in the same family) were the only ones that from time to time would gather in a group to fight them back.

We have our version the north-east (near to the Amazon) called Yaguareté. It was thought to bo extinct but it's making a comeback.
