ESPN figured out that the UFC isn't worth what they were paying, and Paramount will figure that out too.

The idea in 2018 was that the UFC would be able to produce stars in the realm of a Conor Mcgregor, or at the very least that he'd continue selling historic PPV's on a semi regularly basis. By 2033 when the Paramount deal ends, the UFC will be truly and utterly exposed. The only thing saving them is that a huge amount of MMA fans haven't been properly exposed to professional kickboxing/Muaythai yet. Once they figure out that they can spend that time they'd otherwise be watching nothing burger bum fights on prelims, to catch up on the high-level fights overseas it's a wrap.

My bold prediction is that by 2033, Ilia Topuria, Sean O'Malley, and Tom Aspinall will have all fought in professional boxing. In Tom's case he'd just be returning to the sport he left previously. The final straw is robbing the fighters of their PPV money and having zero plans of adequate compensation? What's even the point of becoming champion then? You're better off being a marketable top 10 guy, hell you could be the #1 contender in your division and still get frozen out. Mosvar Evloev turns 33 years old tomorrow!

Now the UFC makes 7,7 thousand millions (your billions) and they are yet to announce a fight for their biggest assets: Alex, Islam, Khamzat.

Ilia does have a fight, and I'm cool with Justin having another shot at the title. This guy deserved his swan song.
