Jon has been notorious for not taking his training seriously. Not showing up to practice, partying all the time, drinking, coke, weed. Yet he was still winning fights. So why would he go from not giving a fuck, to taking substances that could kill his career so he could perform better in the cage? I just don't get it. Is it just more self destruction?

No one gets it, that's the point. Party don't stop if you don't let it.

Who realistically goes from being an seemingly undefeated fighter to all of sudden getting on the juice? It's not like he lost his mojo, he's probably always been on something.

Its jon jones, hes literally known for doing dumb shit at this point.

Hope they can win the appeal though so he can fight soon

Not training seriously doesnt mean he wasnt juicing.

Ppl dont study for tests seriously and still cheat.

Exactly. Like Cormier said (when Jones was all "i made mistakes but now im a better man and i made the u-turn in my life) that Jones is still the same guy and this kind of stuff will happen again. He knew it.

I remember one time staying up late studying for a blood test.
Never again.

This, he was probably on juice the whole time. Same situation with Anderson

I suppose that's true. Just crazy to me to not care enough to train but you care enough to take steroids and possibly ruin your career

It's more likely he's been on roids for a while then not. If he's driving drunk/high, doing cocaine, and fucking around --he's probably taking stuff to help him train.

When are people going to stop giving Jon the benefit of the doubt?

This just sound like every other high level young athlete I've seen. Best comparison is Mike Tyson, win the world title at around 24 years old making loads of money doing stupid stuff outside of the ring fucking up his career.
