If there isnt enough time to get samples tested and results communicated to the fighter within some reasonable time before the fight (maybe a week or 10 days) then the test should be done after. What if the test came back while they were weighing in or as Jones was walking out to the octagon? There needs to be some common sense applied to when these test results are coming back.

Agreed. The testing process should be changed in order to accommodate PED users.

I agree. I'm drug tested regularly. I have a messed up back and I get prescribed pain killers. I have to take random drug tests when I go into the office to see that I'm not abusing my medication or getting other drugs.

Well one time I failed and tested positive for codeine!! I never touched codeine. My doctor was like did you take some old prescription cough medicine? I was like NO! My doctor was like thats weird. Usually someone coming off heroin they usually test positive for codeine. I said uh I don't do that crap. My doctor knows this and I have taken several tests and never failed once!!! My doctor says sometimes samples do get contaminated. Now I wasn't in trouble or anything and didn't get a suspension. But the tests I take are very serious and DEA compliant. Not some rinky dink drug test.
