The term "White Priviledge" is just plain racist. It's making assumptions about people based on the colour of their skin.

I live as an ethnic minority in Japan, do you see me going around telling everyone that they have "yellow Priviledge"? No, I wouldn't dream of saying that to anyone.

"White Priviledge" is like accepted racism and pumped out in the mainstream media? Why? Are white peoples just an easy target for hate and frustration?

Please, can anyone rationalize this for me?

It isn't making assumptions about individual people, but instead is stating facts about the strata of our society and aiming to inform about complex systems that some persons, through no fault of their own for the most part, are not aware of and take for granted.

On behalf of all racial minorities, I apologize that it offends your delicate sensitivities.

i prefer the term majority privileged and would like a list of nations it doesnt apply to.

It's racist, offensive and divisive. But, it's just accepted...

It takes credit away from hard working white people, even if they come from poor areas and gives minorities and excuse not to strive for greatness. "Oh, white Priviledge! Nothing I can do, oh well ..."

Where was #whitepriviledge 10-15years ago? It's like a new phenomenon, everyone is hyper aware of race and looking to throw labels everywhere. It's disgusting.

Don't Asian Americans earn more on average than white people? Get better grades in universities etc.??

Saying white Priviledge is a lazy argument it seems.

Asian Americans often work in higher paying fields -- due to a historical culture of pushing them into stem fields. But, as shown by executive glass ceilings - their representation in the C and boardroom levels does not reflect the amount of solid work force candidates they produce.

Now, again, i am not saying that is due to an inherited racist mentality -- but a fact that the majority race usually gets the perks of being well placed throughout top levels of the sphere of cooperation and decision makers.

But, this is not something that happens exclusively in America -- its something that happens everywhere.

Historical majorities will have a more prominent place within a country - baring a few examples of past colonialist nations that may have a skewed ratio of majority populace vs top tier representation

So, is it ok for me to bitch about my life on social media and start telling Japanese people around me that they should be checking their yellow privilege? Why is this acceptable for "white priviledge"?

What use is this term? Other than to divide, offend and cause hate?

It's accepted racism, if you ask me.

It's ridiculous, if you ask me.

Sure?

Not Hmong, Laotians, and Cambodians.

Liberals use the term because they hate themselves for being hypocrites. Deep down they're white supremacists (consciously or unconsciously), and try their best to hide it by convincing themselves and everybody else that the only reason whites are more successful is because of structural oppression. In their minds admitting that there is a level playing field when it comes to race, and that structural racism doesn't exist, is equivalent to lynching.

Its part of the same cancer as " black lives matter".
All paid for and promoted by the likes of Soros to attacks America's white population and make blacks angry.
Soros is trying to start a race war in America and this is all part of it. He pretty much owns Obama .
If Trump wins the election this shitty movement will get marginalised .

It grew out of higher education's social identity theories as they pushed Marxist ideas.

Seriously.

It's not a privelage to be treated as you should be by law. We should focus more on minority struggles, since that is the problem we are truly facing. But whatever helps people feel better about the problems they face, I guess.

What's this "we" shit? There is no we. lol

I look at it this way...most blacks don't like people who look like me...consequently I don't give a fuck what happens to them.

See, when you constantly denounce people and call them names, they tend not to care about you.

I'm a part of we lol. I take no part in this white guilt charade, but growing up, I know of the pitfalls facing many minority communities. WE cannot pretend it doesn't exist, nor can we act like we can solve all their problems ourselves without them taking charge first.

See above, don't care.

If they don't like it they are free to leave or dig a hole and climb in it.

There's always the shitholes they hail from but nobody wants to go there and we aren't welcome.

These people treat whites like shit in their countries. They deserve it, to hell with their gay little "struggles".
