It has seen better times.

Cormier is up fighting Stipe and has said he will retire next spring(if I remember correctly). Winning or losing we don't know if he will actually fight again.

Gustafsson is fighting Luke coming up. Luke cannot win that fight. But there are no other fights for Gus. Gus, Latifi and Jimi are all team mates. It would have been perfect if they kept Bader around.

The great prospects Misha and Volkan both kinda got derailed. Misha lost to Volkan and old man Texeira. Volkan got son'd by Cormier and is till facing legal troubles as far as I know.

The division needs new blood and that's now.

They should throw some money at Rashid Yusupov(http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Rashid-Yusupov-114267)

and

Tomasz Narkun

Well UFC stole the Polish talent.

Most people with the right frame to fight like legit LHWs in the 2000s like Chuck, Tito, Wanderlei and Shogun could compete with today's MWs such as Chris and Luke.

I think Yoel should be a LHW, it would help is cardio and his power is plenty for the division.

At one time 205 was the premier division in MMA. Now it is a dumpster fire. We may have a guy coming off a loss at MW moving up into a title shot. The division needs new blood.

they could really use Bader, Phil, Wand & maybe even Sakara

mismanagement sucks

Everything will be in order when the 205 kingpin returns soon

It's been horrible for a long time, Jon didn't have anyone good to fight until Cormier and Gustafsson.

When Cormier retires, it's gonna open up a lot more leeway for fighters.

Yeah and it wont get better, the humanity will soon be smaller, hairless, and we'll all live in artificial gravity bubbles.

You're probably right, maybe I have my nostalgia glasses on. Although it certainly at one time was stacked. Removing Jones (and now DC) from the equation has left it in a sad state.

Jones and DC are that division without them it's more shallow than FLW
