The Sonic movies are pretty damn good

The Sonic movie came out of nowhere. Nobody expected much from it. There were a lot of pissed off fans when the trailer came out and the studio listened to the fans and redid Sonic himself.

Now we got 3 Sonic movies and a 4th one in the works.

This is what happens when studios listen to the fans.

Just saw Sonic 3. Loved the first two, especially number 2. This one was pretty meh.

My friends made me watch the first two Sonic, then we went to the theatre to see the third. They’re alright. I mean fine for what they are. Though the third one felt like it was never going to end and I was getting restless.

How is this good? We talking like finding Nemo, shrek, toy story good?

When I first heard Jim Carrey was playing Dr. Robotnik I figured he was just slumming it for a paycheck in his old age. But the movies are at worst mindless entertainment and are now a major franchise. Guess I was wrong on that one.

Sonic 1 was flawed in that they teased you by making the game dumb fast (esp the first area with all the fun shit) only to bog you down with pitiful underwater bullshit later on and waiting for walls to move out of the way (but still a good game overall)

but the 2nd and 3rd game fucking rock, and the music on all three IS BANGIN
