The size advantage of modern HWs just got exposed badly

The best HWs are still the giants of the division. Usyk is just the exception because he is so much more skilled, and more natural than everyone else.

Joshua didn't throw any combinations the entire fight so where was the boxing. Hell usyk only had to throw 3 punch combos to out point AJ
Combos don't come if you can't land the jab and Joshua was really struggling to land the jab. If you have ever sparred you'll know that there is no point in throwing combos when you can't even land your jab. He'd have just been winging air. That's what happens to older fighters who can't pull the trigger. They know they can't land their punches so they stop throwing because it's exhausting and it leaves them open to be countered.

Usyk winning a big fight and impressing us doesn't mean that there is a trend towards smaller HW's being the norm. Usyk has a smaller margin for victory than someone like Fury/Wilder. He likely isn't going to KO many guys, and he has overcome a power and reach disadvantage. He impressed me for sure yesterday, but it's not anything more than a singular fighter at HW that is very talented.
