More likely they're just going to moan about some documents that they were supposedly not provided which supposedly precludes them from fully evaluating Kavanaugh's background. We all know 90% of them are going to vote "no" regardless of his qualifications.

The Democrats were obviously going to do all they could to try and slow walk this nomination process, but it's not going to do them much good.

Manchin will likely vote for Kavanaugh, for all the good it will do him. I still see Manchin getting voted out regardless how he votes on this confirmation, but if he votes against the nomination, he's going to lose by much wider margin. Voting for Kavanagh at least gives Manchin a fighting chance.
