I heard that HuffPost is fake news.
 
Typical Huffpo crap - young people are becoming Conservative because they're being bribed with money. Liberals just can't accept that people have different points of view than they do. Nobody can just naturally be conservative, they have to be EVIL or, in this case, being paid off lol.

They say the next generation is going to be far more conservative than the generation before it. Of course liberals will say this is because they're being BRAINWASHED by LITERALLY HITLER, but maybe the left needs to take a look in the mirror.

Maybe it's the fact that they've become the party of censorship, of shutting down honest debate? The party of outrage?

To be fair, that's not so different from the right accusing the left of infiltrating the media and positions of influence via corruption of the education system and university brainwashing.

Which isn't necessarily a position I entirely disagree with.

Young people are becoming conservatives because young people rebel against the establishment, which is now frighteningly progressive and Marxist.

The left doesn't see it because they're still neck deep in their bullshit narrative that they're not the establishment.

Not the entirety of the reasoning, but yeah. I've been saying it for while now, but the insufferable Liberalism in all forms of media, is going to work against them in the long run, and turn conservatism into the cool counter-culture. It's just natural. They're treating a political belief system like a pop-culture trend.

Trends eventually die. Liberalism is going to be about as cool as hair metal in a few years.

Yep, teenagers are smarter than adults give them credit, every generation. When they start to search for truth and get punished, shot down, ridiculed they begin to question where it's all coming from.

And I think they're increasingly seeing where it's coming from and it's not "nazis", conservatives, and xenophobes.


Its progressive, feminist, and liberal educators.

Exactly. The pathetic, progressive hipster dads with stupid tattoos, beards and awful haircuts forcing their kids to eat soy and brainwashing them with naive ideas relating to equality, power, gender and privilege are not going to convince their children that progressivism and liberalism is cool. It is painfully obvious that these kids are going to rebel by turning to more conservative and traditional ways of living because they had to live under the tyranny of their self-righteous, leftist parents.
 
I don't care about anyone's politics, nobody should work for nothing. Internship or not. If you own a business and you don't want to pay your employees, you get what you pay for. If work for free, you are an idiot.
