The Referee Was Dead Wrong

For letting Nate Robinson get knocked out like that. WTF man. First of all he's an amateur with NO experience. He got knocked like 3 times before the KO. It should have been stopped. Really after the first knock down, Nate never put both gloves on the referee's chest.

I understand these semi celebrity boxing matches are getting trendy but shit you gotta protect people especially non pros. And none of these celebrities or rappers should be making fun of Nate. Because a lot if them talk shit like they would get in the ring with each other and never do. Niw they damn sure won't.

Nate did make a fool of himself though. I'm ashamed to be a former lookalike.

To be honest I was pretty angry with that psychopath piece of youtuber subhuman shit.

I mean these are not real fights, and Nate Robinson is not a fighter. It's just a freakshow match. I don't think he expected for that little youtuber scum to come out that strong.

What kind of an asshole do you have to be to knock out someone like Robinson.

Like you're not supposed to fight that hard. Especially someone older than you and a legend in his own sport.

Nate Robinson isn't a legend.

I honestly thought it might've gotten stopped after the first knockdown. Nate got up and looked like it was the first time he'd ever been hit hard in his life.
I thought the ref definitely gave him more time and leeway to recover than you'd normally see.

if you seen nate through out his basketball career... he is a hot head and a bit of a bully, despite being only 5'8" ... it tells you the kind of confidence he has in his physical ability ... unfortunately, for nate... if you've ever been to a gym, experience matters so much in fighting ... the ability to relax, breath, and not flinch every time someone feints or throws a punch is vital... everyone with just a hint of training would have known what the outcome was going to be .... nate going to sleep

He is definitely an NBA legend. You obviously don't know what the word means. He won 3 dunk contest standing at 5'8. He was also a solid 6th man in his prime.
Not a legend. Solid 6th man for a year or 2 doesn't qualify as a legend. Some great 6th men in the NBA were Michael Cooper, Kevin McHale and Vinny Johnson (the microwave). Only Kevin McHale would qualify as something close to a legend. All 3 are much better than Nate Robinson was.

You are getting the word "legend" confused with all time great. Nate isn't an all time great but he is a legend that has made a name for himself and will be remembered.

Him winning the dunk contest 3x makes him a legend all on its own.

A legend is simply someone who has been around for a while and made a name for himself in his field or sport. Nate IS a legend. He had made a name for himself and he will be remembered.

YOU are the one trying to make a special definition. I don't know what makes you say Vinny Johnson isn't a legend either. He's a legend as well.

Nate Robinson isn't a legend.
Doesn't matter if he's not that big of a legend. It's still wrong.

Like the young dude should show some respect. Sadly in this case that young dude is a straight up psychopath.

Who gives a fuck what you think at the end of the day if we're being honest here. Go fuck yourself.

You are watering down the word. I'm not trying to take away anything from Vinny as he was electrifying to watch at times. His teammate Isiah Thomas was a legend. Vinny was a very good player and so much fun to watch. Nate Robinson wasn't in his league. Nate was a tremendous athlete and carved out a good career for someone his size.

Again, you are picking another All time great, and setting that as the bar for being a legend. Yes Thomas is a legend. He's one of the greatest legend.

Nate doesn't compare but he's still a legend in his own right. An 11 year NBA career is not the average. Wouldn't you say Spudd Webb and Mugsy Bogues are legends? What about Manute Bol?

They are all legends. Some legends are greater than others. Many legends are unknown to people who weren't there. But they are legends because they left their stamp for whatever reason, and they are remembered. You don't have to be one of the GOATS at your position to be a legend. Kenny Smith is a damn legend.

Nope, none of those guys are legends. I like all of them except I would say Manute was just a part time small role player most of the time. Manute averaged 2 points and 4 rebounds per game for his career. Kenny Smith was only a legend in Queens. He could qualify as a high school legend and his school (Archbishop Molloy) was legendary. Spudd and Mugsy carved out nice careers. I think they were both better than Nate. What Mugsy did in the NBA for his height was simply amazing. I'm not trying to take anything away from any of those guys as I respect all of them, even Manute. I disagree with how you use legend. I don't think were gonna find common ground.
