The reasons why I never liked Dan Henderson

Dan Henderson spoke to me for a while over MySpace when I was 14, felt pretty awesome.
The MySpace days were great for interacting with fighters, I shared messages with Hendo too, good bloke.

My only criticism of Hendo is the intentional kill shots to downed opponents, bang out of order. Apart from that the guy is an absolute legend of the sport.

Only reason to not be a fan is how Hendo kind of blew fights when he got to the top. It's a mixed bag. He has some great wins, but also losses which hold him back from being considered a true GOAT. He was older when he lost more often so there should be more discretion when holding those losses against him. Typically he was the undersized opponent so not sure where him being a bully can be a factor.

Yeah that right hand of his is too dangerous. Should have been banned from using it. Not fair that he can KO Heavyweights with it.

So you're a fan of pillow-fisted fighters, TS.

That's OK.

Honestly, the guy was a bully in the ring/cage and only got away with being a bully because he didn't trash talk outside of it. Many of his fights he's ragdolling people and hitting them way too hard. Also the guy reportedly has insane grip strength, and sometimes does these crude bullish front chokes most wouldn't be able to get away with.

Obviously a big legend of the sport, don't get me wrong.
Too obvious, troll harder.

If you meant hitting them AFTER they have been KO'd in a very low sportsmanship, then yeah, i dont like him much either.

They don't make 'em like Hendo anymore. True OG.
Ever having a bad day, just watch him nuke Ping at UFC 100. You will instantly feel better.
Our wedding reception was on the night of UFC 100. Had a fucking blast, thought my night couldn't get any better, then Hendo dropped the H-bomb on Bisping and Brock made Mir eat strawberries.

HUH?

<WhatIsThis>{<huh}

Maybe you meant way too late (which he's done once that I can remember).

Anyhow he put Jake in CTE land and that's good but too bad he gassed himself out and ended up losing

Maybe he meant "hit people too much", like that elbow he landed on Bisping after flooring him

He legally hurt people for my enjoyment.
