Was the movie just a clever way to throw people off the scent of an organization that really exists? Some people believe so (although it is unclear what exactly it is that they do). Here's a short 9min doc:

I have talked about the MIB in a few videos, and that's because there is just something so interesting about them and the mystery surrounding peoples encounters. Are they real? Why do many UFO & Alien witnesses say they have had encounters with them? and if they are real, what are they trying to hide?

It didn't surprise me when a movie came out using the idea

nice find i love these stories, heard a bunch of them where as far as i can tell they are weird looking people using old fashionable clothes and cars from the 50's that make them look out of place, but at the same time they dont pose a physical threat wich makes the encounters all the more bizzare

Here's an interview with Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd, wherein he speaks about a suspicious incident possibly involving these men. It happened during his venture into making a UFO show, which ended when it was canceled the very same day.




Retired pilot turned UFO researcher Bruce Cathie also spoke of being questioned about his work by mysterious men, that vanished after entering a stairwell. He dedicated a chapter in his book "The Energy Grid" to this supposed interaction.

If you're not the reading type, I know at least Redfern has a bunch of YouTube videos giving interviews and presentations. Probably dozens. I love listening to that guy. Anything dealing with his book Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind is great.

Haven't seen the movie, so not exactly sure what you mean by that. But from reading a short description of the film it seems those you refer to were controllers of a sort. I could see how that might apply to the real MIB.

Another interesting comparison to make to movie characters is, if we live in a simulation or whatever, they could be a real life representation of some manner of matrix agent. Hence the Agent Smith image in the OP.

Adjustment Bureau is a matt damon movie based on a philip k dick story. Just youtube a preview of it or read a synopsis to get an idea what it's about.

And beargrounds posted about the hat man in the post above this one. But there's a ton of stuff about him and shadow people out there. Apparently its a common apparition in all cultures.

Very true. The hardest part is allowing yourself to believe you could be wrong, in order to be able to see the truth. I'm terrible at this despite a lifetime of experience being wrong. Spectacularly wrong.
