Not totally sure what I think of this trailer, but it at least looks unique, and Emilio's last film--The Way--is one of my favorite films of all time.
Emilio back in the library? Hope this isn't a stealth Breakfast Club reboot.
That's probably what it is.
But on a more serious note, I'd like to know why he waits so long between projects.
There was seven years between this film and his last film, The Way. And then four years between that film and the one before it.
Is it that he only likes to direct occasionally or is it a matter of finding financing?
All that break must have helped him maintain his youthful look. He looks 15 younger than younger brother Charlie Sheen
I think he just took a break from everything, acting included. I figure being a Sheen is a pretty full-time job on its own.
Boy, this really looks like a big pile of shit.

Shut the fuck up.
The thing about Emilio is that he is by far the quietest, more reclusive one in his immediate family.
Martin has stayed busy and has been far more in the spotlight. And Charlie is Charlie.
Emilio though, we've barely heard a peep out of him for 20 years.

He kind of ran out of steam as a leading man in the 90s, and a lot of that crew really got whittled down. Swayze ran out of steam as he aged, guys like C. Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio got reduced to bit parts. Charlie Sheen and Lou Diamond Phillips became straight to video guys.
Emilio Estevez was never held in incrediby high regard as an actor, though I think his performances in both Young Guns films are grievously underrated. And I always thought it was a bad move to do Loaded Weapon 1. Once you descend into that strict parody genre, it's a little hard to get back out of it.
Seems silly, homeless people get to be that way for a reason and many are violent. In the movie they resort to high jacking a public library for their use? I'm not feeling the sympathy that I'm sure the movie will try to get me to feel.
