Stipe is great at close, tight, inside range shots. Tend to be short hooks/straight punches. Remember Werdum, Maldanado?

Stipe either matches or exceeds every strength DC has.

DC may have quicker hands. he gets inside. he is good at slipping punches getting inside. and when he doesn't slip em, he eats em well. he's been rocked, what, twice ever (Jon Jones & Anthony Johnson)?

Standing, Stipe has slight advantages most places.

but DC getting Stipe to the ground is much likelier than Stipe getting DC to the ground. and if he ends up on his back with DC on top of him, Stipe could very well be in trouble.

TS, agree with you, DC has a good clinch which, added by his constant TD threat, makes him very dangerous, even for Stipe, who is a very well rounded guy. DC also has a nice chin (remember the bomb he ate from AJ) so I dont expect Stipe can easily drop him. I have no favorites on this fight and I will definitely watch it.

DC has this one. Just a better well rounded fighter. Underrated strength...but this fight will also show you how good Jones is too.
