I just finished watching this mini-series and I have to say it was fantastic. I looked on Mayberry, and I did not see a thread about this show. It probably went under the radar here in the U.S. because it did not air here.

It is wonderfully acted by Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Elizabeth Debicki and Olivia Colman. If you have Amazon Prime, it is on that, only six episodes but you will go through them relatively quickly.

Never even heard of it! Looks interesting though. I'll have to check it out.

I've actually been wondering where Tom Hiddleston's career is going to go. Loki pushed him into the spotlight and I imagine it was because of that role that he landed the lead in Kong: Skull Island. But other than that he hasn't been doing a lot of high-profile stuff.

I did hear a while back that he was being considered for James Bond, but not sure how serious the studio was about that.

its briliant. The quality of filming,the majestic scenery/shots around the world,it feels like big budget James Bond tv series in a way,love it. Nothing better than shows that really move around and take you on an adventure,for lack of a better phrase.

I believe they started with season 2 already despite it not being a sure thing at first.

Indeed, a season 2 will happen. It will be really tough topping season one.

It sounds like AMC did a poor job of advertsing this show prior to and as it was airing.

I watched an episode and really liked it but put it on the back burner to try it again later because I have so many shows I'm trying to watch. It only has 6 episodes though so once I finish a few more close to done shows then I may try it again.
