The next fight to make: Stipe vs Tyson

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr showed us that Tyson still has a bit left in the tank, enough I think to have a competitive fight against UFC champ Stipe. What’s in it for Stipe? A fight against the most famous boxer of all time and a very red panties night (probably millions). Stipe has a background from amateur boxing And he relies solely on his boxing while standing.
What’s in it for Tyson? Lots of money of course and it’s a winnable fight against a champion who is bigger and younger. Although Stipe has an amateur boxing pedigree, he moves like a statue and is easy to hit, especially in a small ring.
Dana, make it happen!

Tyson would still whoop Stipe in a boxing match
yeah sure whatever the 54 year old who fought once in over a decade would definitely "whoop" the current HW UFC champion in boxing... LOL

Stipe couldn't sell a fight if his life depends on it

Bo Jackson would of ko or submitted anyone of these hoes. Bo Knows®

I like the idea but Stipe would destroy current Tyson in terms of strength, conditioning, speed etc. Tyson just has him in terms of technique.

Which is why it would be competitive. If Stipe fought a top boxer his age he'd get demolished. He probably still would.

Stipe would panic wrestle as soon as the fight starts

lol.

tyson would last 1 round. there a big difference between a 8 round no knockouts allowed exhibtion fight than a real fight in 2020.
Finally a voice of reason.

Some people's biases and nostalgia blinds makes them delusional to a hilarious degree.

I'd love to see them boxing. Keeping the 2mins 8 rounds format it would be very interesting! It's a lose-lose for Miocic tho so no way he's going to accept that.

Stay online, TS.
I got Dana on teh other line.
Don't leave the thread or get up to the fridge, this could take a minute.

Prime Tyson beats Stipe in both boxing amd MMA. Old man Tyson wins only in boxing.

It makes sense, after all Stipe only fights old dudes and Ngannu.
Makes sense... according to BB Nagganou's an old man too.

Voice of reason?

Tyson is old, but Stipe is nothing more than a golden gloves champ. He doesn’t even have any pro fights. It’s a very credible argument.

Tyson looked fantastic for a 54 year old man but make no mistake, any current top 15 HW boxer would have finished that version of Jones Jr, Stipe and Ngannou would likely do the same.

Stipe and Ngannou wouldn’t beat any ranked pro boxer in the top 50 and likely in the top 100.
