While the words below are mine, the ideas come from lots of sources.

As human's we have bodies that evolved in pre-hisroric times. As such our bodies CRAVE exercise. We also produce adrenalin, which our systems must "use" up. As our society has changed we spent more an more time sitting on our asses. In order to remain healthy, both in the mind and body, we REQUIRE an outlet for our excess adrenalin.

We also require exercise. Our bodys and minds function better when getting USED, we WORKED, when we tax our systems.

My point? Martial arts provide valueable attributes to society, EVEN IF NONE OF THE TECHNIQUES ARE WORTHWHILE. If nothing else they get us to break a sweat, get us MOVING, and socializing.

That said, I still fucking hate 99.9% of all so called martial artists.

I think its hormone to have us crave such a thing as MMA. All but a few rare women do not enjoy the competition of two men beating each other.

I was in a bar for the first Tyson-Holyfield. One of the undercard fighs was women`s boxing, Christy Martin vs somebody.

I am eating my gooey nachos when the camera goes for a close up of her conrnermen attending to her between rounds.

They were sticking a Q-tip up her nose to clean up some blood and snot. The whole bar groaned.
