People speak of Anderson's ability to do some shit you'd see in matrix on regular basis, like in Forrest Griffin fight, like dodging bullets in that movie with superhuman reflexes. However, when has he really been doing that on regular basis? I can really recall only one other fight you could call that, out of his career that spans more than a decade easily, and that's when he got knock the fcuk out by Chris Weidman.

Also, I think many people hasn't really watched that Griffin fight in full. Anderson Silva wasn't doing anything that amount to a whole lot of offensive, until he caught GRiffin with a left hook then hurt him. Then, and only then, he started taunting Forrest and with hands down, only after Forrest was hurt.

The myth of matrix of Anderson silva is as believable as his excuses of thai dick pill for popping for roids.

The rest of the world disagrees with you.

Anderson was always known as a very good striker. He just didn't have the ground game to make it to the top until he switched camps from Chute Boxe to Brazilian Top Team around 2004.

By the time he made it to the UFC his BJJ was much better and he was able to survive and even win on the ground in the UFC.

He always had excellent striking, way before he even came into the UFC.

yeah people site his losses as some way to discredit him, but his striking has always been lethal. PRIDE didnt seem to want to promote him well enough even though the broadcast team recognized the talent. He had one of the greatest MMA walk outs too.

I watched him at Wembley against Lee Murray, that was borderline Matrix.
