People will disagree but Prime Cain would have pushed Stipe’s chit in as well. He’s the Heavyweight goat for this era and Fedor for the last. Cain was ravaged by injuries but there’s no doubt in my mind he would have destroyed Stipe

Not necessarily at all. It can simply mean Fedor is incredibly beloved and overrated. Possibly both. Stipe is in continuous GOAT discussions. Derrick Lewis is rarely in legend or great fighter discussion when he is obviously both

That is one of the most parroted statements on this forum but there isn't a remote existence of a HW era where Lewis couldn't sniff top 5. Be real

There are many things in life worth deep debate. There are certain facts that remain self evident. On this here karate forum when we discuss a HW fighter with a resume of wins like Gonzaga, Travis Browne, Volkov, Roy Nelson, Nganbou, and a whole bunch of spectacular lower level can crushing that we would be discussing a great fighter with a top 10 all time HW resume. It is a "legend of the sport" resume in the UFC and greater than many other coveted fighters on this here karate forum. When you also consider the fact this resume did not come from being a product of the UFC hype machine and being gifted, but through GRIT. When you consider the anybody anywhere fuck a belt I just wanna bang mentality, you would think we would be discussing who many people would say is their favorite fighter. For some weird reason this fighter even though having one of the most enjoyable personalities in the sport is treated like a damn journeyman on this karate forum. Did you actually watch his flip coin decisions with Nelson, Ivanov or Latifi? If you didnt, dont waste your time. No legendary fighters involved.

Epic last second KO on Volkov indeed. Not often do you see in the elite a guy being outclassed like that before the late KO though.

He is a legitimate HW contender, and the one who better exemplifies the current state of the HW division.
