Do you take prayer request's for people at church or their family? I guess if they asked you to pray for them it would be committing idolatry also? Or are you able to do something the saints cant? Are you closer to God than the saints?

If you can't tell the difference between having someone simply ask you to pray for them and praying to a saint to pray for you then I'm not sure we're gonna hash out this conversation. It's very much like the creepy pastor worship of some of America's mega-churches. Like that douchebag in Houston, but with saints.

Don't get me wrong though, I've got no grudge against Catholicism. Just don't subscribe to some of trappings. As for Francis, gonna have to fall on the side of the sedevacantist on that one.

Really what's the difference? Are they not part of the church? Even more fully than you or I?
I think you confuse prayer with worship. Revelation clearly paints a picture of the saints offering our prayers up the lord. So why the problem? But then again maybe the prayers of a guy sitting next to you at church, who may or not be in a state of grace are more effective than Christ's own Mother or closest followers.

The Sedes are wrong. He is legitimate just needs to make public refutation of errors he allows, and affirm the teachings of the church.

The opinions of the pope are just the opinions of one man. The weight of his opinions are overrated.

I doubt one can truly be called a liberal when they represent a church that thinks their leader has a personal line to Jesus, and has a massive phile problem he refuses to do anything about.
