Regardless of how you saw the result, it was a CRAZY fight. Respect to both blokes probably fight of the year IMO. I had a draw but wouldnt have been surprised at any decision... hats off to both warriors.

Still lost the fight or had a draw at best since the last round was 10-8.

I'm torn between who I want to see as Middleweight Champion - Whittaker or Gastelum.

Part of me wants to see Robert have an historical run and keep the championship for a long time, but the other part of me wants to see Kelvin finally reach the top of the mountain.

Unfortunately peoples love affair with yoel (shady AF) overshadow the performance by whittaker. Won 3 rounds and showed as much heart as one can. Its clear now you have to kill him to beat him
 
Respect to Whittaker even though I don’t feel he won. Dude is a warrior.
 
Everyone was lauding CM Punk for his display of heart, but Whittaker fought a fucking superhuman freak killing machine with one God damm hand while getting battered. He is a treasure.

I love both him and Yoel. As fun as a rubber match sounds, I'd like to see them lay waste to some other fighters. They are head and shoulders above the rest of that division.

with respect to Whittaker, a beating like that does no favors for one's chin. Romero aged it 8 years in one night.

Hyperbole but i agree it isnt good for him. Whittaker will lose in the next couple years but its been a fun journey so far. Showed tremendous heart

Most thought he lost the belt on Saturday night. He is very talented but clearly beatable; I doubt he holds the title long. I agree, he seems like a good dude and has great cardio and recovery. I too, thought he lost on Saturday.
