Anybody hear about this?
I was recently right next to the Pontiac silverdome when it was imploded. The explosions almost broke the windows on my car, and we (me and my two sons) were literally as close as you could be. I guess I used up my big boom for the year, being that close.
Anyways, THAT event was heard for like 25 miles in every direction. A couple counties were in on hearing it.
Well, we just had another big boom. It was an exploding meteor over SE MI. I may have heard a rumble, but probably thought it was a truck driving by on the ice. I missed this one.
The explosion caused a minor, but registered, earthquake, and was similar to the one in Russia from a few years ago that broke all the windows.
The meteor, according to some local officials at the prestigious Cranbrook and some other local news outlets, landed within a mile of my home. Meteors like this are worth more than a million. Will check the yard later.
Anybody know about this, or have your own meteor story?
