Just listening to Meliora now, can appreciate the NWOBHM touches.

Not as heavy as i was expecting but I'll carry on going through their discography

They are meant to have that old 70's sound. There is a lot of lore in the band with Papa Emeritus the singer and the nameless ghouls his band. Check out the three first three albums after that it gets s bit too pop rock sounding. This is a great one off the first album.


Let me know your review of Meliora I think it's their best work.

Prequelle comes after Meliora and I only really like two songs Rats and Faith Then the Imepera album and I only really like one song Hunters Moon, great track. I never really gave that album much of a chance so i will have to give it at least one listen before I can fully judge it. They went kinda more 80's sounding and I prefer 70's Ghost lol still love the first 3 though..It's a cool thing he's doing Tobias Forge he is the mastermind behind it all and is Papa! every album cycle it's a "New Papa" and new ghouls with a new look.

I saw these guys on tour with Warbringer and Heathen 3 years ago. They had just released an album as a 3 peice with the singer/guitarist being kicked out right before tour, so the lead singer and guitarist were fresh to the band for the tour. They were fucking awesome, and so is that first album. It sounded a lot like Pantera. Finally some new material with the actual line-up, and it exceeded my expectations. This song is fucking killer.

They're going on tour with Exodus and Deicide on the East Coast.

New Ghost! Meh it's bettr than anything off the last record so I have a bit of hope didn't like much from Prequelle and maybe one song ( Hunters Moon) from Imereta. New album is called Skeleta!

Oh shit that is crazy! he's been there since day one who the hell could replace him?! I don't think he wrote much for Hushed and Grim and didn't even sing so maybe this has been brewing for awhile now. He is still a huge part of the sound on the the other albums and contributed a lot to the discography.

Fair lol not particularly my favorite genre either. tbh I like a handful of DC bands and that's it.
