Not sure if it's been mentioned already, and if not it needs be. Deadyellow released an album a few days ago. The new album, What was left of them, sounds very similar to some deafheaven releases, and I'm ok with that because they really flesh out their proggy, moody interludes on this album. I also get a sense they're flirting with an ecstatic black metal sound, similar to the band agriculture.
The most striking song on this album is Katla. It's the top played post black song for 2024 in my playlist.
