Metal/Rock/Industrial The metal thread \m/

New Igorrr stuff sounds decent, excited to see what the new album brings.

[Corpsegrinder sounding like the typical beast he is on this track]

Not a fan of the electronic stuff, but the rest of it is good. I'm torn, because its original but I am not a big fan of electronic pieces being put in there that are more than atmospheric.

I felt the same way at first discovery, then it just grew on me. It’s not for everyone, that’s for sure.

The new album is really good in my opinion.

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Brant Bjork of Kyuss fame remixed and remastered his solo debut album Jalamanta that was released way back in 2009 last year for its 20th anniversary release. Here is Too Many Chiefs... Not Enough Indians from that album.

An amazing debut by Brant who recorded all the instruments and sang on said record. He has released some stellar material since then including the killer album Keep Your Cool.

Also I've been listening to Spaceslug's new EP Reign of the Orion that was released back in December a ton. I suggest everyone listen this band from Poland because they produce some f'n killer Stoner Doom

I'm pretty high right now boy does these two songs are extremely pleasing to my ears

That's not bad actually, very interesting stuff. Maybe the electronica is a bit gimmicky but at least it's something a bit different.

EDIT: Hey the guitarist is actually wearing a Nintendo tshirt, i guess it's meant to be gimmicky.

I saw Brant a couple of times during that era and he was excellent live. Really fun shows and he was really enjoying himself.

During the set, there would be a bit where he would switch with the drummer.......mid drum solo! It was seamless, not dropping a beat. Very cool. Not just to see but also to hear Brant drumming.
