This is so fucking cool this band called Gruesome openly paying homage to Death's distinct sound and use the same cover artist and same font for the band name. Just pure Death worship in a very sincere form. The singer/guitar player is from Exhumed and the other guitar player from Possessed so some serious killer players here. Didn't want to like it but it is done so well you'd think Chuck wrote these songs. This is all original music too! This album "Silent Echoes" is a direct homage to Deaths "Human" album

It would be fine if there were some influences here and there but this is bordering on Greta Van Fleet/Led Zepplin Territory. imho

I have done a complete 180 on this now that I fully understand what they are doing and think it's pretty fucking cool honestly

The guitarist's vocals sound more thrashy than in the past, he might have a vocal effect on too. Either way this was fun, loved this guys back in the day, production sounds great on this.
